Who is this karaoke singer, belting out some amazing AC/DC tunes in Topsham?

The above video surfaced on the Interwebs yesterday evening, showing a mystery dude — it’s hard to tell much about him from the somewhat grainy and unfocused video quality — doing some pretty serious karaoke of AC/DC’s “Thunderstruck” at the Topham location of the Sea Dog Brewing Company.

After several posts of the video on various sites, the mystery singer’s identity was confirmed by several posters on YouTube: Tim Boyden, a Freeport native and an employee of Bath Iron Works. Boyden apparently is a huge AC/DC fan who has made a name for himself around town with his note-perfect Brian Johnson impression. Here’s another video of Boyden singing “Shoot To Thrill,” again in Topsham.

While we don’t have confirmation from Boyden himself that this is actually him, we’re pretty sure it is. Tim, is that you? If so, why aren’t you filling in for Brian Johnson, after he announced he was retiring from touring?
